  1. Make sure your body is aligned and balanced before exercising, otherwise you will overcompensate while working out.

  2. Workout in symmetry - use both arms at once, or both legs at once.

  3. Do not weight train your upper or lower body 2 days in a row, it can lead to overtraining.

  4. You can do cardiovascular workouts 4-6 times per week.
    Give yourself at least one day of rest per week to prevent overtraining and fatigue.

  5. Always wear a heart monitor to make sure you have a "safe" and "effective" workout.

  6. Stretch before you workout!

  7. Do not try to see how much weight you can lift for one repetition. This can lead to injury
