- Make
sure your body is aligned and balanced before exercising, otherwise
you will overcompensate while working out.
- Workout
in symmetry - use both arms at once, or both legs at once.
- Do
not weight train your upper or lower body 2 days in a row, it
can lead to overtraining.
- You
can do cardiovascular workouts 4-6 times per week.
Give yourself at least one day of rest per week to prevent overtraining
and fatigue.
- Always
wear a heart monitor to make sure you have a "safe"
and "effective" workout.
- Stretch
before you workout!
- Do
not try to see how much weight you can lift for one repetition. This
can lead to injury
